I don't remember the name but years back there was a nice small Russian restaurant on 4th ST SW, any place kinda like that you can recommend?

Just something kind of interesting is what I'm looking for.

Checked out Skazka, really nice inside. Tuesday evening, so it was kinda dead, but the waiter says Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays are very busy and lively with live entertainment (bands/belly dancers).

The only complaint was the seafood platter. It was recommended by the waiter, and while I liked it, my dinner date thought it was too 'fishy tasting'.

It's a little pricy but I liked it and would definately go back to try more stuff. I think would be good in a big group, so you can try a lot of the appetizer dishes.

Bill was about 100 before tip for 2 with entrees, seafood platter appetizer, couple of drinks and dessert.

menu and prices listed on their website (annoyingly in PDF)

whoaaa.. I went to Skazka yesterday too haha. Also had the Seafood Platter, and wasn't very impressed. As you said.. the platter was really fishy tasting/smelling, so we didn't finish it.

Very nice place inside. Service was really good, just a little on the pricey side.
