I was watching some of the coverage on tv the other night, not as much into the "classics" as I used to be... Would have been neat to go there, too bad my trip to Scottsdale isn't until April

What did the Futurliner bus and the 300 SL Gullwing go for?

I don't think they have went yet. The Gullwings are set for Saturday, but I'm not sure about the Futurliner.

i dont no if anyone saw t but i couldnt believe how much that origional suburban went for, i watch the tv coverage to see some sweet cars and i didnt consider this to be one of them but it went for a high price. it just shows theres a buyer for everything.

The Futurliner is slated for Saturday, right near the Gullwings.

I guess the 1959 Jag Sportster was not a treat at all. I just talked to my brother and he said it wasnt that pretty and needed alittle more $$ tp put into it. I guess if it goes for 30 he'll hop on it.

As a Saturday-selling car, I can almost garuntee that Sportster will go for a lot more than 30 grand.

I think I agree with you there...but he was just saying it needed another 20 to get it up to par.I figure the vehicle will pull 45000 or around that #..
looks good online though.

guess we will find out the results if a trailer comes back with him.haha

There will be no 30 thousand dollar cars on saturday, At least not on TV..

*edit, BJ is not the place to go looking to steal away a car at half it's value.

hes not trying to steal away a car at all. I was just saying what he told me anyhow. He is a very serious buyer(obviously if he is there and in the ring)..
more or less he was just letting me know the condition when I asked him about it.
I was more or less being informative.

just me 2 cents.

Same story last year with the F-88, that guy only wanted anything over 600 large.

I have to be honest, I'm so happy the Futurliner went for way more than the Bonneville or the F-88. It's just so much cooler. :D

I agree, I didn't like the Bonneville at all, and wasn't too enamored with the F-88.

What's up with Alex this year, is he just there to drive up the bids? I haven't seen him take any.

I have no idea, he doesn't seem to be doing much bidding this year. :dunno:

I'm not really too interested in the Elvis limo, but I'll take a stab and guess $1.75 million.

Judging from all the rich rednecks there, I'll say it makes 2 million.

Wasn't he buying for someone else last year, hence him buying a shitload... I thought I saw him get one car on friday, don't remember what it was though.

This year's barret jackson was sweet though... I wanted that Blue 1970 GT500... that was hot!!!
