man you just gotta call dealerships on otheir bullshit. if they screwed something up, you take it right back there without phoning, talk to the service manager and give him an earful.

they get paid for doing warranty work and should have no problem doing it.

you can't be afraid to say 'this is fucking bullshit and you know it' to their face and mean it.

yep
the dealerships get paid to do warranty work so if you push hard enough they'll almost always fold over

Yeah. I had to do that with BMW. When the engine in my M3 blew, I took it back for warranty work. They gave me a POS Ford Escort as a loaner. And it wasn't even a loaner. They gave me a voucher to go rent a car. I drove it home, pissed off. After the scariest ride of my life in what seemed to drive like a tin-box with wheels, I called and spoke to my SA. I told him that I demanded a BMW loaner car, and that it be delivered to me, and that they take this piece of shit back.

They delivered a 528i. Quite a step up from the Escort. I was pleased after that.

Yup sometimes if you bitch about things like the dealership not washing your car etc, they will give you free stuff, snow brushes, keychains, or even a discount on your serivce. :D

Nah man, drive it around with the car acting sub par, thats the way they are supposed to be.

Why would you take it back to the dealership, they are only going to fix the problem.
