These guys were looking before. I was fully qualified, called them up and they completely ignored me.....
Finally after 2 calls they agree to talk with me about it, the guy tells me he'll call me back, never does.

That said, if they're looking for a guy for weekends/evenings I'd sign up in a heart-beat. (I'm a 3rd year)

zero 102, i am not the boss, only an employee. The guy who hires is always super busy, and with lots of resumes coming in to trade companies all the time, perhaps he hired ahead of you, or simply forgot to call you. You gotta understand that in this city, the boss's cell phone is ringing constantly in any trade company, and sometimes they don't have time, or forget to call a guy back due to the workload. If you were seriously interested, you should've called him again. That being said, if your looking for full time+ work, call now. And to the other questions, its maximum electric, we are hiring apprentices, but if your looking you need to call the number and ask for mike, I'm only helping out by posting here.

Doesn't sound too bad, but I doubt many guys are willing to jump ship for 27/hr. As far as the profit sharing goes, what did that translate into last year roughly?

Still probably not enough for people to leave their current job.

I know guys making $34-36/hr with their ticket here in Calgary.
