I used 40000 IU vit E gel for my stretch marks and got it to fade alot. I used Strivectin before and it did nothing... what a waste of 200 bucks :thumbsdow

in general scar creams and gels work by breaking down the initial scar tissue which is bulk and random in pattern. Thus new scar tissue emerges (collagen) but realigns along lines of tension and heals somewhat to a normal appearance. But its effectiveness is another story.......no real first hand experience....

I used Dermatrix for a scar and it has been working quite well. The doctor told me to use Vitamin E and Vaseline to break down the scar tissue but this I started using 6 months after and I have seen improvemens with it. It's pricey but worth it

Vitamin E works amazing. You wouldn't even know the scar was there anymore unless you looked really close.

....how bout the patch i saw it at shopper 40 dollas thou the gel is like 15 but u have to use it for like 6 months for old scars n new scars r like 2 - 3 weeks
