Mythbusters used 1 engine, IIRC. Still cool none the less

Yea, Mythbusters did have a much smaller engine, and they also showed a legit news article from South America in which tit actually happened.

Although, I get a suspicion that a rolling car is easier to flip than a stationary one.

Imagine if they had all 4 engines running instead of the 2 inboard ones.

heh i drove behind idle hot engines a couple of times before. but in the summer we have the windows open, usually we try to close them before we do :p... man that exhaust is hot! O_O,

Luckily they are just on idling for power and not full blast :p

Mythbusters used a 737 which makes much less power and the car was further away, bigger jets could easily flip a car moving or stationary

haha awesome video...

regular aviation fuel cost about the same as preimum fuel. I remember a CF18 pilot told me a trip from Coldlake to Calgary (i forgot if its both ways or one way) takes about 4000 gallons of fuel.

SO yeah, its pricey haha

A F-18 holds roughly 1600 US Gal internally without external tanks, and has a range of 1600 km. 3700km in ferry mode with external tanks.

Cold Lake to Calgary is 450km. So a F-18 uses up under 1000 US Gal for a round trip. Not 4000.
