I was wondering if the power handling on the box is for both speakers or just for one
The amp I got has 170 x 2 watts RMS @ 4 ohms and my midranges power handling is 25-150 watts RMS @ 4 ohms
I was wondering if that will work, or will it be to powerful and fry my midranges ?

My other question is can u mix and match mid ranges with different crossovers/tweeters?

Thanks in advance

Thanks :)

When it says
25-150 watts RMS on the box
is it 25-150 RMS for each speaker
or for both of em combined

that means that wattage going to your crossover, from there it'll figure itself out.. ha..

Haha sorry about that
Im just wondering if the wattage written on the box is for both of the speakers combined, or just for one of them.

most likely each, check the actual label on the speaker, should have the power rating right on it.

He means if he had say 4x125 available can he send 125 to each, the 2 mids and 2 tweets.. I take it?

And not really, the crossovers sort out which frequencys get to what speaker, so you don't just want to hook your sets up directly to the amps full range, with no sort of crossover (either built into the amp or sperate units).. Also when wired into their crossovers they are set up to a certain resistance, so both one mid and one tweet together provide the 4ohms of resistance between the two when wired into their crossover... Am I following what your asking?
