It's not on air yet, I think the website is letting people know it's in the works, and there's a a form you can fill out saying you're interested ina radio station like this in town

Since living in Edmonton for the past 2 months, Sonic has really grown on me. The mix of music they play is awesome. Never thought I would here these bands on the same station:

-Nirvana
-Soundgarden
-Daft Punk
-Bad Religion
-Story of the Year
-Rise Against
-Frank Sinatra @ 5pm is the sh!t

I've been hooked on Q107 for over a year now. But radio stations in Calgary come and go, CJAY92 is the only immortal radio station.

im hoping that Q will stay around for a long time i used to listen to cjay, but for the past 2 or so years its been nothing but Q 107, probably calgarys best radio station

it'll be nice to have a station that'll play A7X and Coheed and Rise Against and Death Cab and stuff that is all over the airwaves in the US and Vancouver/Toronto/Montreal.

Its about time - hopefully this will lead to more good live music in the city too.
