does anyone know what the horsepower is in one from a crx? What the difference from a regular stock 89 crx motor?

CRX cx would have like 72hp, CRX dx have like 92hp, CRX si would have like 120hp and a ZC SOHC will have 120hp, ZC DOHC will have 129hp.

I think that this is all right. correct me if i am wrong.

crx hf - 50ish hp
crx dx - 90ish hp
crx si (the only one worth owning) - 106hp (88-89) 108hp (90-91)

sohc zc - 130hp
dohc zc - i have no idea, its a freaking rare engine.

I had a ZC in my crx before I got a B16a. It was sweet. Cheap and made me kinda relatively quick!

A friendly debate from H-T.

Why waste $900 or so on an old POS engine, when you can rebuild the stock motor with better aftermarket parts? I'll stick with my d16a6.

Thanks!

According to Honda Hybrid there's a ZCG (aka B16A1) in the 90-91 Civic/CRX SiRs. Runs 160 BHP...

CRX HF - 62hp
CRX DX - 92hp
CRX SI - 105
DOHC ZC - 129

The dohc zc came out of the a civic model in Japan ( i think)

I think that these are actually the same car, one's canadian and one's out of the us. I own a dx crx as my beater, its called the HF in the usa. THere are no HF's in canada as I understand it. But CRX's are not my strong suit.
