i think nissan is trying too hard to either influence or guess the style of the next generation of cars...aside from the 4 wheels, it barely looks like a car

Hopefully it is just a crazy prototype that will look nothing like the final model.

The above pics are of the concept car (http://www.freshalloy.com/site/cars/nissan/skyline/r35/concept/home_pr.shtml).

Here's another guess at what it might look like:

Too bad the next GTR won't look anything like that Photoshopped R34

Some people have to do some homework.
Like Jeff GTS was saying, its no longer a Skyline, as Skylines in Japan are G35's.

R34 will always be a timeless classic. Hmm.. R35 will be definately interesting to see when they finalize it. :)

Good lord guys...here is what the Skyline is in Japan.

That was hard, huh?

Glowrider

...and here are the trim levels. Notice, there is no GTR.

if anything, a timeless classic would be the r32, or maybe even the r31....

I guess. Though I'm sure everyone should know what a G35 looks like. Hehe, you could have pointed them to the infinite site too.

I could have, but people need to see the word "Skyline"...so they will shut up about "the new GTR!"

man, the new skyline looks a lot like the 350 z, hmm coincidence, probably not, hey, now we can just mod the 350 z and have a skyline, sort of :D

We all know what the skyline looks like, but we are talking about the GTR. The topic is wrong focker. The gtr is now a completely seperate entity from the normal skylines now.

"GTR" is merely a trim level of the Skyline. If you ever noticed, R31-R34, the GTR doesn't look to much different from the lower models, such as the GTS-T.

I really don't think Nissan will stray much from the design of the current production Skyline if they choose to have another production GTR.

But what we're trying to explain is that in Japan, Skyline and GTR's are both two seperate cars.

Skylines are essentially our G35s. While the replacement to the previous Skyline/GTR will be simply called GTR

I dont like anything newer then r34. It looks it would be in one of those drawings from the 50's of what they thought 1985 would look like. "Slow down tubby, you're not on the moon yet".
