So I have a 2001 Toyota Corolla, whats the biggest size rim I can get on the car. before the tires start to rub.

depends on the tire sizes, maybe not going to drop it by much half an inch tops, and problably going to stiffen the springs

18's about as big as you will go relatively simply... You will run with a 215/35r18 then...

I saw a newer corolla at work with 17" rims. I don't recall the tire size, but the car looked good on the 17s. The car sat right with a nice stance, and the wheelwell gap looked good.

You can go ahead and put bigger rims on your car if you want but please please keep the same tire circumference. One or two hot stops with bigger wheels and stock brakes is a one way trip into the nearest tree.

^^^ that is pretty much common sense :P i just wanted to know how big i can get before i can't actually put tires on it because the rim is bigger than the original circumference
