One of the companies I work with is looking to hire Architecrual Technologists or Interior Designers full time. The company pays overtime..has a proft sharing program and RRSP contribution plan.
The company is in the contract furniture industry...must have strong CAD skills.

that depends on ther persons qualifications and experience. Typically we pay between 35k and 55k

Well...that's not the specific background we're looking for but that's not a reason to say no. My only concern with people applying from other disciplines is if they would be content in doing the job. More time is spent doing space-planning, needs assessments and specification that pure design work.

we do some but most clients these days won't take the extra time or spend the money for custom units.
