just wondering if something is wrong with my car....

i got a 90 integra and when i start it in the morning its at 1500-1700 RPM then when its warm the tach needle falls to the first bar (whatever RPM that is; like 200!!)

is my car fucked?? thanx!

I dont know if this helps you... But check your Air Flow Meter sensor on your air intake. Everytime I let my foot off the gas it would almost stall and rev at 250RPM , and that was the problem... So check it out, make sure you dont have any vacuum lines off, and all your sensors are on nice and tight:thumbsup:

convict: its not gonna stall.... it runs fine juss the idle is low... and i did check the lines sometime ago and they were perfect!

hmm i dunno? maybe thas juss my car?

anyobody with a G2 teg know? whats ur idle?

i was also thinking its the accelorator cable because when u increase ur thorottle the idle gets higher... maybe thas the problem? hmm..... still confused!

Isn't the first bar on a tack usually 500rpm? So maybe its normal.

ye it sounds low to me too... actally its 250RPM

cuz there are 4 bars and 1000/4 is 250!! for all u math wizzes... so i dunno... my car runs fine... juss 250 idel is realy low IMO

plus i also loose power cuz when i gun it my engine is not "ready"

yeah your car shouldnt be idling at 250...thats way too low...

nope.... runs fine... juss seems to loose power?!?! until about 1000RPM

my 90 teg will idle at about 750 - 1000 when it is warm, odd that yours should idle so low

well honestly , if it doesnt shake , or tremble! let alone stall
Maybe your tach is just off
you shoudnt have power under a grand anyway...
