Is this a good deal: 1995 honda prelude srv, stock except air intake, 107,000km, new timing belt, near mint condition. It's the nice bluey/green color. The guy is asking 17,900obo. I've seen the car and it looks really good. Just needs a new battery he says. What do u guys think???

its not the best deal in the world, but its not bad. Low km, average price for a SRV.

man i remember that red on, in 99 i went and test drove it, they wanted $30,000 because it had I/H/E and it had a vtec controller....
i bagged on it, couldn't even get the thing to redline in 3rd... the dumb fuck of a salesman said "oh it's in gas save mode so you can't redline it"

i could probably get him down to 17,000 or maybe 16,900. I've been looking for an srv for so long and it's so hard to find out in good condition and low kms.

my sister is selling hers.
its a 93 srv that was just repainted(coming out of the shop tommorow) factory red (to frehsen it up cause the bumper had a swipe on it, figured we'd just re-do the whole thing before selling it).
Its got 210K on it, but has had the major typical SRV repairs done.
If you buy a car with under 150K, be prepared to dish out some cash at around 180K. The cam seals and distributor are common issues and cost around $1200 to fix both. The honda mech's said its very common on the SR-V's.
Anyways, she's asking 13,500 obo.

Hey, I recently bought a 1995 SRV for $15,000 with 127xxx kms. It's been recently repainted (black), has been lowered and it had a $2000 pheonix gold stereo. Id say that price is a bit high. I think I paid a bit too much for mine but its all good:bigpimp:

Hey does anyone know how to change my username, is it possible or do I have to sign up again?

doesn't aftermarket paint decrease the value of the car anyways?

well it depends on if your prefer 10yr old tired paint or a fresh PROFESSIONAL paint job (in my case repaint of factory color)

Got my 93 SR-V 195k on it, for 10.5 Freshly repainted black... Only thing i had to do was rebuild the entire engine which costed me 3...... and I still got my car cheaper then the avg SR-V
