im heading up there tonight and wondering which places to go, and ones to stay away from. i was told to definately check out rum jungle, how is that?

no whyte ave is NOT where its at.. its old fashion getting too old and dirrtyyy.... standard is not bad.. adn globe is acually pretty good..check those places out .. saturday Globe is suppost to be good and same with standard.. but yah run is good aswell...

yeah, definately Standard or Globe if you want to get shot. Those are like the 2 clubs with the most stabbings/shootings in Edmonton.
I'd say pretty much anywhere on Whyte. If you don't like the place just go somewhere else. No cover at most bars = :thumbsup:

Whyte is wicked, just get there and stumble in and out of a few places and you'll have fun.
Fever just opened up in WEM. It's very modern and is now the biggest nightclub in Western Canada.
Check out the Bank (21+ on weekends) downtown, awesome bar. I saw Hilary Duff there a couple months ago. There rooftop patio should be done soon since it's warm now. :dunno:
You will not find a place with a better girl to guy ratio than Ezzies(beside the City Centre Airport), especially on Tuesdays - but be there by 10 to avoid the massive line. I'm serious, this bar has more hotties than the guys know what to do with.
Union Hall is not bad, but I'm not a huge fan of rock music.

I'm visiting edmonton tonight as well... I think i'll check out Fever... and then if i'm still here tomorrow (it's up in the air) i'll check out standard... where is standard anyways? (i'm currenty on 170th st... across whitemud from WEM)
