absinthe

Can you buy absinthe in calgary? I have never seen it in liquor stores but I guess its because I was never really looking. If you can get it any where in calgary, is it the "real" stuff? I would go look for myself but I have some deadly sickness and am stuck in my bed.

I dont think you can find the 'real' Stuff. My buddy worked at a liquor store by mt royal, and they had a form of it, but i dont believe it was the real deal. His dad brought him some of the real stuff from europe i think it was, and said it was pretty sweet shit :rofl:

Ive tried 3 different kinds from calgary liqour stores, all claim to have "wormwood" in it, but none of them where like the real stuff from europe

They do have wormwood in them....there just isn;t a large enough portion to make you hallucinate...

From what I've read in the last 30 mins the stuff thats sold in stores usually has 10 mg of thujone (chemical from wormwood) and is 60-70% alcohol and the "real" stuff has 100 mg of thujone and is 70% alcohol.
