Looking to sell on behalf of my sister her 1996 Pontiac Sunfire, Recently stopped working (I've been told it needs a new timing chain) but is in decent repairable condition.

2.2L 4 cylinder, automatic, Blue with grey cloth interior. Power steering, Brakes recently done. Child seat attachment in rear.

Its a one girl owner car with 278,000kms mainly highway driven between kamloops BC and Calgary. Clean title on registration and has never been smoked in.

If anyone wants to put the time in to fix it or can use it as a parts car any offer would be taken into consideration. At this point theres no interest in parting it out.

Asking $1200 OBO

Please PM if interested and like i said before any offer(s) will be considered.

as i said im open to any offers and my asking price reflects the savings for someone who is willing to fix it themselves, or use it as a parts car.

I was quoted around $550 for parts and labor by a local shop and just for everyone elses reference heres the consumer reports link:

aside from this issue all other regular maintenance has been performed for the life of the vehicle.
