Rims are starting to peel and was just wondering if anyone knew how much it would cost to re powercoat 4 rims and what is a good shop to get it done at? Any suggestions?

Powder coated rims will constantly suffer from "peeling". The powder coating isnt as flexible as the rims are and as a result over time they crack and peel.

Well nevertheless do you know of any places that can repair this "peeling" and how much we talking for 4 wheels???

Not sure about a solution but I would like to ask what type of rims you bought so I dont follow suit.

i'm guessing that he painted them himself. or else he bought them from k-mart

If you read the thread you would know they are not painted. :zzz: There is a big difference because powder coat is much more durable then traditional paint.
