Looks like a computer? How much did it cost you in total?

Those don't look like Mushkin Black modules... Black modules have the black heat spreader on them like this:

Nice rig for sure! I cannot see anything having trouble running on that setup!

My new one is almost identical, except for the Processor (4600+) and HDD (2x250gb).

I've always been an Intel Guy, so we'll see what kind of horsepower this thing has compared to my outgoing P4 3.2

nice build,
good job on the wire management!

what are you temps like?

Nice machine. What kind of temps are you seeing

Just curious because I just built a machine with the same board but with a X2 4200+ and I'm seeing temps below 30C at idle and only up to 40C when doing a prime95 stress test.

I also like that casing or wrap whatever it is around your power leads... is that something you can get at mem express?

coolio, i would have grabbed the 4800+ if the prices were what they are today. i paid like 6 bills for my 44 and then the lowered them! haha oh well the machine is still pretty good, i'm hoping there is nothing i can't play with it :)

thanks, actually the liberty power supplies are modular, you only plug in the wires your going to use! makes a big difference!

i had a hard time getting my machine up to 35c with a stress test. normally at idle and basic browsing ...etc.. i sit around 22c, at least thats what asusprobeII is reporting

Nice setup, but if I had to change one thing, I'd get the opteron 170 or 175, since they overclock better and they have high resell value as AMD are not selling these anymore.

Sorry to revive this old thread but...

I'm wondering how you like that power supply, I'm especially curious about the noise, I want a very quiet system.

I currently have the Antec Sonata II case but I think the power supply is hooped (makes a noise like a fan even after the pc is shut down). Antec has offered to RMA it but I think it may be easier to just buy a new PSU, that one is at the top of my list.

i think its fairly quiet, although my case fans are pretty loud. i doubt this is known as a really quiet ps. the entire back side is mesh and it has a large 6" i think fan on the bottom. i just bought it for the bling factor :D

Nice system Legendboy.

For those who want quieter PSU units, there is a little thermistor sandwiched between the heatsink fins in many power supplies (all the Enermax's I've had). If you remove it from between the fins, the PSU fans will run slower and quieter ;) It works fine as long as you have ample case ventilation.

i have a brand new 535w enermax for sale, it runs pretty quiet (has adjustable fan speed)

this is the one i originaly bought with this pc but swapped in the liberty after buying one for a pc at work and seeing how nice the liberty was

http://forums.beyond.ca/showthread.php?s=&threadid=119529

it has about 10hours of run time on it aprox
