I have a 1988 Mazda RX-7 with 11xxxkm on the engine, its an N/A. At about 4,000 there is a bog or hesitation in the acceleration if I hold it at anything over 1/4ish throttle. It doesnt matter what gear I am in. My guess is its just my injectors but I know very little about rotarys. Besides that bog the car runs perfect.

WOT is the worst, i lose almsot all form of acceleration between 4,000 and 5,200ish.

Any ideas what the problem is or suggestions.

EDIT: Maybe caused by a poor ground? I know I have lost all power to my car a time or two but I jsut wiggled the battery around and it started right up but this is a consistant problem

Just a quick question , how old is your clutch ? Have you replaced that. Switching the plugs would be good , as well as checking your battery could help as well.

Theres actually a problem with that, its the 3800rpm hesitation, my car had it years ago.

Theres a ground you need to change to get rid of it, I believe its a brown wire you have to cut or change.
I forget lol but if you search for the "3800rpm hesitation" it should come up for it.

If I had the printout still, id post it:(

The clutch is probly the original one, same with the tranny (which I am replacing because 2nd and 3rd are staring to grind) Where abouts is the ground wire... direct from the battery to the frame? If so should i re-ground it som where else?
