Well i got my new summer car this past week, It has a little more then meets the Eye =c)
1968 VW Beetle
1.8L Porsche 914 Engine (Brazilian Made)
69 counter weighted crank
90.5 MM Pistons
total Seal rings
Engle 110 284 duration 430" lift
Lightweight Lifters
Heads= CB 044s Semi Hemi Cut
Value Size = 40mm int 35.5 ex
Compression Ratio 7.0:1
Rocker Shafts Bugpack bolt together
Pushrods= Chromemoly
Carburation = Dual Kadrons
Exhaust system = 1.5" Empiexhaust with a collector reducer to 1 5/8" to a super flow 2" Muffler.
Should make for a fun cruzin' car ... allthough it is only an inch and a half off the ground

That compression is wierdly low (I'm guessing to combat added heat of a higher compression), also 430 lift? How is that? Lightweight lifters is not nessasarly a good thing. A lot of hi performance cars use solid lifters which are not considered light.
The car sounds really cool and custom, maybe these things are a little out of my perseption of a typical performance engine.

It's Ready for a 911 Bolt-On turbo ... Yeah the guy i got it off of just didn't get around to doing it ... either i will raise the compression or get a Turbo ... undecided yet :D

This sounds cool ... who else is going to go on this ... i don't know any other people into VeeDubs other then my friends
there have been a few, I'm sure we could get together 9 or 10 cars.
