Anyone been here?

I'm wondering if it's classy enough to be a good place for an anniversary dinner.

I've heard a co-worker's opinion, but I want to get a broader feel for this place.

I haven't been to that location...but the Verve is great! The bf and i both enjoy going there when we can.

place is classy. the food is ok, but not what you expect for the price you are paying. i didnt like the entertainment, but thats just me. its also pretty dark in there.

i didnt like my service when i went there. our waitress not only had bad breath, but also was smart enough to bring out our drinks 5 mins after we finished dinner.

The Amazing Verve Seafood Platter. It was perhaps the best meal ever. :drool:

The Verve (Kensington) pissed me off! They literally put all the asians at the front of the restaurant. Everyone else sat in the back. WTF?

Ive been to the Verve in Kensington twice and once at Stephen Avenue. Each time, each meal is a total hit or miss - some ppl at the table will have good meals and others will have super bad meals. Even the same dish has tasted different when I have gone back.

Used to be Drinkwaters.

Didn't care for it back then. Never been to Verve since it opened.

Went last night, my meal was great, but my Gf's was questionable, but a little too dark inside lol could barely see who i was talking to

wow...verve sucks...bad food, terrible service. I will never go back nor reccomend it.

in fact i wrote the GM a long email on how bad it was....never heard back...really professional!!!!
