hey guys, the sony speakers that came with my computer lick ass. Just looking for a set of decent speakers with sub. Please post what you have. Thanks!

I've had my Klipsch Promedia 2.1 speakers for almost 2 years now and am quite happy with them. (This is just my recommendation, since mine aren't for sale.)

This is probably the one component of your PC that is the most resistant to obsolescence. Worth the higher price if you use your speakers a lot.

if you've got some speakers lying around your house (home audio) you could also consider sending your pc sound through a reciever

Thats what i have done to mine very easy also.

I have done that in the past, but don't want too much bulk. Also, since I have set up my surround sound for the TV, I don't have anymore speakers really, and I don't want to hook the pc up to the same receiver as the TV

They were just recently on sale for $50 after rebate and they sound pretty damn nice for that price. I'm just waiting for the price to go down again so I can snatch up a pair :thumbsup:

also might want to check at The Computer Rack, they usually have pretty good deals on speakers

future shop always seems to have a set of computer speakers on for sale. just go to hte clearance table and see what u can find.
