How much would bulbs cost to replace on this system? :)
You can just run any normal H4 bulb, they just use normal bulbs, not any special bulb...they just "recommend" using Catz bulbs with the system, but I have used other ones fron day one and it's fine!

the poor man's hid kit.. personally having the kit.. I"d save my money for the real thing, or just buy the wiring harness the effect is about the same.

I'm pretty sure buhbuh knows what obo means,
There was no best offer made by anyone in this thread thus far, and slurpee asked if he would accept OBO. He was questioning what best offer, as none were made.:)

Why are you selling them already? Not as good as you'd hoped?

The system is GREAT for what it is and for the price, it is a 100% plug and play system which is really nice...especially for the price (new), you are getting alot of output compared to stock.
The problem that ALOT of people do not understand is how a "real" HID system works, you MUST have proper HID headlight housing/reflectors/projectors for an HID system to work properly without blinding on-coming traffic with your glare...HID systems produce ALOT of glare if you do not use the proper reflector/projector.
Yes there is a night/day difference between real HID and the Catz System, but the problem is whether or not you want to spend the money to make a proper HID system for your car!

So since the Zeta isn't an real HID, you can still use your stock headlight enclosure?
Or would you be blinding people with the stock enclosure even with the Zeta system?

See, that's the beauty of the Catz System, you can still use your stock headlight...and at the same time get the boosted headlight power!!! :werd:

But like you said, you can still tell the difference between the real deal and the "wanna be"?

Yes, but isn't the point of the two to have better lighting???
hahaha, I think the point is they are far better than stock, just not quite HID level. but for the money, 175 CAD versus like what, 700USD? its a good buy.

But won't your headlight housing melt from the extra heat from the higher wattage?

zetas are the best boosters on the market, saw them on greg from contemporarys civic... they hella bright at night, can be easily mistaken for hid...
good buy for 175!
I think it doesn't stay at a high voltage, but goes on and off at higher voltages...so your haness should be okay.
I may be off though, I read about them a long time ago. Pretty decent for the money, I'd pick it up if I had H4's.
