any of you guys/gals got any suggestions on places i can take this girl i'm seeing? she's from edmonton and we've been seeing eachother etc etc for awhile and shes coming here in march. I don't have much money because of school so i was thinking maybe i could show her a few nice spots that over look calgary or something. any thoughts or suggestions are very welcome!

The top of the hill/cliff just off central/memorial overlooking downtown, and if you're in the right spot, you can see the mountains too... i hear it's super beautiful during sunset

Scottsman Hill, I believe 17th Ave SE and 28th Street, you can see the skyline from the east side, beautiful

Chill Hill, its just off center, i think its the 3rd or 4th right just before the center street bridge, overlooks downtown, awesome at night.
Joint Point, up just off 14th street, about halfway up the hill after 64th, overlooks pretty much all of NE Calgary, and if its a nice night theres a path that leads up even higher for a better view.
Both are really tight, Chill hill is more of a get out and walk type place, while Joint Point is like a small parking lot up on nose hill, but its got paths and shit if you wanna go walk.

Is anyone familiar with a view near signal hill? A friend took me there years ago and I'm trying to find it again. All I can really recall is that you turn down a very steep hill and there's a dead end and you can see the the city's skyline and it's quite far.

At the very top of it?

Also a view if you head down Signal heights S.W

Unless ur talking about the view from the top of the numbers? but u dont see downtown from there..

Edit: umm Dead end? might be in a cal-de-sac by the numbers?

Never been up on the hill here but the view should be good....

Do you mean near Coach Hill / Broadcast Hill?
In which case the dead end road at Edworthy Park might make sense... https://goo.gl/maps/rjutRhr1enE2
