ok..i'm new to alberta and i hate the way insurance works here..anyways, that's besides the point.

1. what the hell does pd/pl mean?

2. I can't really afford to put full coverage on my car, does basic cover like fire and theft and vandalism?

3. if its easier to answer, what's the difference between pd/pl and full coverage?

i'm asking on here because:
>you guys have experience with it, first hand!
>i don't have time to go to an insurance place
>i hate insurance brokers with a passion
>i already searched the net with no luck

plpd = liability = must have, covers you upto 1 million in propery damage.

comprehensive = fire, theft, vandalism etc

collision/all perils = covers you and your car for everything...

plpd is the bare minumum you can have, fire and theft are usually not included but they can be added for like 7 bucks a month
