I bought a set of yellow gold headlight bulbs for my silvia s13 projection headlights. I installed on both sides and drove with them for a while then they just stopped working, I pulled the bulbs out and the metal part below the bulb was all burnt looking but the light was fine. (both sides are the same>

Does anybody know what could be wrong?

thanks

Well, could they have just burnt out? Not unusual if they are the same age.

Don't buy ricer bulbs. Stick with the stock wattage or else you will keep getting this problem.
