there should only be 3/4 wires unless its one of those weird lcd's

you basically got ur video rca wire, power and ground. the rca usually has a + and - to it (+ being the middle prong, and - being the outside metal ring casing)

the easy way woudl be the yellow video feed from the ps2 to the monitor, and the sound rca's to ur deck, hopefully you got a deck with aux inputs.

Dude it's one of those weird ones.... with amillion wires!
No joke and it needs a signal from my car deck to turn on....
so like fromt he Monitor it goes to a box that has red, yellow, white
female plugins for you know what... and then a power cord which
happens to be really strange and connects to a wire harness for
my cardeck... so I dunno man this is gonna be awhile to install.

so it sounds like you have the standard set

ok, u said u got red yellow white, so that means there is speakers on ur lcd?

then possibly, u got 3 more wires to power, control, ground.

if u got a special type of plug, sounds like the lcd is made for a certain type of deck? maybe like deck control over the lcd for like display aspec changes, brightness, all that stuff.

some monitors use a generic type of plug, though it may not use all the contacts for it. eg, my lcd has a quick disconnect, it uses a standard ps/2 keyboard mouse male female plug, but it doesnt use all the connectors, and thus it really is only 4 wires that are in use (video, power, control, ground)
