Do you guys know of any shops that will do a nice job painting my kit but won't insist on installing it? My friend called maranello
and they won't paint the kit without install... well that's what they told him.

I did a search... but didn't find any posts on this.

Call Mahesh at Manira Refinishing (875-9849), tell him your a friend of Corey's and he will give you a super deal. Mahesh is doing Superesc's JDM ITR front end conversion and Ludelvrs prelude. I'm pretty sure he has the best paint booth in the city.

Why do you want to install the kit yourself? I don't get it.....

Marenellos is good
Low Cost Autobody is good
Manira is good

I like to do my own mods or at least help do them. I don't really like having other people work on my car.

I give you all the thumbs up for doin your own work on your car, unless you do a really bad job. As for the paint job, just PM me if your interested. I'll let my friend know on whats going on.

Since you are installing it yourself, make sure you actually get the kit fitted and installed perfectly before you get them painted.

I mean, unless your kit is going to be a perfect fit, I suggest you let the bodyshop fit it and install it.......just a thought

what kind of kit is it? if its urethane then self install is the way to go. fiberglass, i would let a body shop do the work because they never fit on right...

DIY jobs are more rewarding than paying someone to do it.

Fibreglass kits are always a pain in the ass, like one out of every 20 are actually made correctly, the rest of them fit like shit.

It's urethane... and it won't be hard for me to fit it first before I paint it... but thanks for the suggestions... :)

It'll take about 15 minutes to pop the bumper off... and about the same for the side skirts.... cuz I haven't taken them off before... the rear is just a lip... so it's all good.

They lied to you... Maranellos painted my rear skirt and I installed it myself! I also don't trust anyone working on my car...

It kinda looks the same as the new 03's except that the front lip is raked a bit more. Looks good either way

I like the kit, its not a crazy looking kit, but its not also boring. Originalilty is always a good way to go. Nice choice for the body kit.
