hahah i ran into this problem awhile ago too...i thought i was compeltely retarded also :p

you have a d16y8...which is a bastard engine for this. most civics or maybe all of them have their block heaters to the left of the header...the y8 has the block heater connected to the back of the block so try and look around back there...i have an eg (92-95) civic with a 96-00 (ek) civic si engine in my car and had to deal with this

Tell ya what, that frustration worked. I found the cunt hidden away in a place where I never would have looked if something down there hadn't reflected off the light and caught my eye. Its in the front of the car, inside the bumper and behind a plastic cover and tucked up somehow inside this lip. Completely hidden. But I got her, thanks guys.

at least it worked out for ya and didn't turn out you don't have a block heater cause the engine was in a car from b.c....*glares through window at car*

About $40 from Canadian Tire, plus cost to replace coolant.
