I'm pretty sure I could give you an answer for this myself... but on the off chance that anybody has some fwd slicks on 114.3 x 4 bolt pattern that really wants to loan, or rent them out once this summer, I would like to know them better.

I wanted to try making some better times this summer, but I won't be buying slicks just for a couple of 1/4 mile runs with the baby on the way.

Borrowing slicks is like borrowing someones 2L of Pepsi... or borrowing a roll of toilet paper.

Slicks arent exactly cheap and have a rather short life. Who would actually lend you slicks just so you can burn the rubber off of them? You are better off buying a couple of used tires.

I've borrowed R compounds from friends before, and let my R compounds out to friends before. These tires had a life span of maybe an hour of track time.

What kind of guy that doesn't know me would let me, is the kind of guy I am looking for. :)
