Colors...???

HEy, i just picked up a 240sx last night and im trying to install my Alpine deck in it. the previous owner never used an adapter kit so im looking for the guide for what color wires are for what. It's an 89 240 and your help would be great. thanks.

k thanks, i did search google for 89 240sx stereo wiring, help, guides, colors, everything, couldn't find anything, but thanks for not flaming me:thumbsup:

^^hah, no worries.

uh..those aren't correct for the 89 i don't think. there is no red/white wire in there for the illumination. And no extra green wires for the power antenna. And for the ignition theres no Brown or Green wire. It must be a different color.

You should just go buy a harness, much easier to install. They're like 15-20 bucks at A&B Sound.

the guy cut all the wires...so i can't other wise i would, i did that with the last install....and i got it figured out...a blown fuse :rolleyes: ...3 hours of thinking for nothing, im goin to go give my poor head a rest....
