which gens are you talking about? If your asking about the newest gens then I like the lude a little more. Not a huge fan of the Celica styling. Also haven driven both cars I feel that the lude has a little more usable power than the Celica. Both cars are decent tho!

Celica, I have drive a few 5G Preludes and was unimpressed. Celica has nicer styling and Toyota reliability :thumbsup:

The Celica has 180HP, but it is in a very narrow powerband. I had a GTS for a while (a week) and found it to be a very nimble car, with a cockpit-like interior.

However, when I drove the Lude, it felt like a bigger (heavier) car... but it had much more useable power/torque.

I would have said prelude, but now that i own a celica i like it much better. Celica is more fun to drive, handles better, way lighter, more potential, and has more interesting styling. Prelude is so boring.

I saw a chart a while back that said the GTS was faster (1/4 mile) than the Prelude, but imo, the Lude is way nicer with a better interior.

Or if you are talking about 70's or 80's ...

otherwise .. last 10 yr .. Canadian model .. Prelude > Celica ..
