I'm just wondering how many of you Alpine head unit users are using a KCA-420i (IPOD connector)? I did some searches on the net and it looks like a great unit. Price is a little on the high side, but you get what you pay for right? It would also be nice to know what song is playing and such (or can you also do those w/ FM modulators?)
My main question is, it says its compatible with any Ai-NET equipped Alpine head unit 2004 and newer. I have a CDA-7998 (Ai-NET ready), and I can't remember when it was made and not too sure if it will work. It may be a long shot, but is anyone using a CDA-7998 head unit and have a KCA-420i hooked up to it?
