Hi all,

I was just wondering if anyone on Beyond had done any underwater photography? Just wondering what problems or advice anyone might have.

Preferably I'd like advice on using something like a Nikonos V and strobe, not for disposable or point and click cameras.

Thanks in advance.

I usually just take the plunge with the 20D

good idea... I'd throw a Canon in the water as well ;)

Kidding of course...

Man, I'd love to do some underwater photography. I was considering getting some gear for when I (hopefully) go scuba diving in Australia this summer, but the price of those underwater housings are way too bling for me.

my siter and dad both have underwater cases for their digital camera's, it works quite well in clear water. bonus if its got video feature, i've got tons of footage of many sea turtles swimming around me

My thoughts exactly.. I think the case I want is close to 1600-1700 CDN... :(

I've just picked up a Nikonos V and am waiting for the strobe to come in.

I've never done any underwater photography but it looks too cool not to try.
