Just out of curiousity...what are advantages/disadvantages of an I6 vs a V6?

I6...smoother, pimper...but bigger.

V6...more compact.

Is also easier to turbo the I6 because there is more room on either side of the engine.

That depends on the engine bay, not the size of the engine.

Because of the compactness of the V6, you can mount it transversly for FWD as well.

I don't know of any FWD straight 6s.

I also hear I6's have/produce more torque.....please correct me if i am wrong.
