Half price of a retailer here in Canada isn't that bad in my opinion. Am I wrong here? Cause I would be happy to keep them for my personal collection, but I have a couple years worth (as I don't smoke to often). Remember the price is Obo... to a point.

Check them out, and see if they are fakes. From what I have learned, if you buy them cheap, they are fakes. There is a shortage on genuine cohibas and other cuban cigars. If you bought that box for less than 2-300 dollars, they are probably knockoffs.

They are not fakes you can tell by looking at the edges of the leaves.

That doesn't mean they are genuine. Trust me, there are extremely good fakes out there. I bought some, and the only thing that sets them apart was the taste, and a small difference on the label.

Heres a good site to check out.

Where did you buy the cigars?

I have a friend down there who hooked me up with someone he knew that could get them at a good price.

After reading the site, I still doubt they are fakes, but that is a very good refference for anyone planning on buying cigars. I actually took the box to my father who has a box he bought here in calgary and compared the cigars/box/documentation, and he said he thinks they are genuine.

thanks for the concern.
