hello,

im 17, just got my license and am looking to by my first car. i have always wanted a ford probe, my entire life. but now that i've done some research alot of people are telling me that its not the way to go as the parts are hard to find if they need replacing.

can anybody suggest a car in the same price range that is similar to a ford probe with design and performance? thanks

second generation 93-97, anything in the same price range with same style (because i love how the probe looks)

there are a few people on here with 2nd gens, i'm sure they'll be able to tell you where abouts you can find parts.

welcome to the board btw.

drift scort is wrong. buy a crappy car, put thousands of dollars in repairs, then sell it later for a fraction of you investment. retard

im 20 and i have a clean record ...only now is it logical to buy the RX-7 Turbo II that i have allways wanted....
if possible, get your parent's to insure the car and add you on as a secondary driver....you'll save ton's of $$$

with my 240sx I pay $2500 a year. I am 17, full time driver, but its basic insurance and it doesn't include collision. Well the insurance company basically refered my 240sx as a crappy car mainly because its 14 years old. But personally if I were you make sure you get a manual. learn how to drive it perfectly and don't fuck around. If you mess around to much and push your limits you will regret it when something happens to your car.

Turbo II's and MKIII Supras are insurance hogs. Get a Civic and let it be for a while.

I'd also chipin something not too fast, that way (I'm 17) you won't kill yourself cause everything happens so slow.

Get a VW
