^^how do you know thats not a 99, body style changed halfway through the year. My friend is interested in this truck, what trim is it? What options does it have? tow package?

As far as i know the 1500 changed in 1999 to the new body style but the crew cab 2500/3500/yukon/suburban stayed through till 1999 and i think some went to 2000

I will post the VIN # to the interested buyers to avoid confusion. When I purchased it I had the same questions, but the seller said that the 2500 Crew Cabs stayed like this til a year or two later.

Yes that is true, my folks have '99 crew cab in the old body style.

Just confirmed it again, it is guaranteed to be a 1999. The sticker on the frame says "manufactured 05/99" and the VIN number corresponds.
