Car Sponsorships

Just saw an ad in Modified Mag for CarSponsorships.com.
Has anyone actually done this? It this for real or just some scam? Any better ways to get some sponsorship?

You sign up. They send email "you're sponsored!" and send you usless crap (random vinyl) because technically that is a sponsor, a stick sponsor. After that they charge your credit card. All legit, and you get 70 bucks worth of stickers.
