I dont' think it is worth much more than $4500. If she gets $3k as a trade in she'd be looking good.

Well a car dealership no matter what is going to give you a crap value for your car, becuase they need to make money. When your trading in your car, you pay for convenience. I think that they'll throw you a rediculous low ball offer like 2000-2500, and say it's because of the rust. So if you want to trade it in, and you get 3000+ then take it. They'll probably sell it for 5000...lol. It also depends on the value of the car that your purchasing from them, and how much of a discount or deal you have taken off of the purchase price of the new vehicle. The more expensive the new one is, the better trade it value your gonna get for your car.
