Might be a bit of a stupid question, but think they'll ever come out with another Ghostbuster movie? God, those two movies were awesome!

I thought the second one was crap, but the first one was a real blockbuster. I remember going to see it in the theater 3 times back in the 80's! I spent all my paper route money one month on GHhostbusters stuff haha

A remake would be cool right now as all the CG stuff they can pull off would make for some cool effects. The original cast is looking pretty old however..

After reading those reports, it makes it sound like Ghostbuster 3 is something to dread instead of anticipate... New, younger characters, expanded GB franchise... and the loss of Bill Murray! What's GB without Peter Venkman? Anywhoz, that's just my opinion after reading it... I guess I still hope for it to actually come out, for better or worse... Haha...

First one was a good blockbuster.

2nd one.. well, it was more entertaining with witty remarks.

I can still remember Cheech Marin referring to the ghost of Titanic coming in..

"Well, better late than never".

Ghostbusters rocked. I don't see how anyone other than bill murray can pull it off though. Dan Akroyd was great too, and the tall guy. Amazing casting all around. Anyone have modern suggestions?

Then you should get the 2 pack DVD if you haven't yet.

They give you 2 or 3 of the first episodes of the Cartoon. Funny enuff the cartoons take place right after the first movie. The cartoons explain how everyone got their different color jumpsuits. Everyone i asked thought that the cartoons came out before the movie.

And Bill Murray does voice Peter. When Peter talks it sounds like Garfield.

btw. It's "Puft" not Puff. I learned that rewatching the movie.

:werd: It'd be awesome to see Bill Murray back as an old burnt out alcoholic ghostbuster.

I don't remember the originals too well, it's been about 8 years since I've watched them, I should watch them again.

A GB3 without the originals will probably suck.

This leads to the question of

Is Slimer, male or female??!?

I always thought it was a 'he', but I somehow recall a scene where he was wearing a dress and female hat.

Did not know this. But then again I only had channels 2,4,9 and sometimes 13 growing up.

Reading the wiki on it, there's a villain called Sir. Trance-A-lot. Good DJ name.
