Santorini's or Ouzo's

Santorini's is the most authentic IMO and has the best Kleftico.

If you're in the SW - Shawnessy Area try out Plaka's, hell, i don't even live in that area anymore but I still go as much as possible.

My memory sucks right now... But my 2 favorite places are the little one in Willow Park Village (facing McLeod), and then the one in Shawnessy (right next to the Rogers cell phone shop).

I'd always heard that Mykonos was really good... but the one time I tried it, it was a total miss for everyone at the table.
I really liked Nick the Greek until it was closed, haha

Nick the Greek sucked IMO. I went there and found it to be a poor attempt at trying to be like Opa. Santorinis has exceptional service and it's quite entertaining on the weekends when they have their greek dancers :)

Athens By Night - Closed now unfortunatly...anyways:

Broken Plate or Santorinis - But, like the poster above I found the service was bad when I went to Santorinis. It was a friday night though, thats probably what caused it.

I like Pegasus on 12 ST and 11 Ave downtown. It's has more of a homely feel too it and on Fri nights they usually have a belly dancer come out.

Food is AMAZING too. Everyone that I've told to check it out loved the atmosphere and the food.

Service is hit or miss with Santorini's but the food makes up for it.

My all time favorite Greek place used to be Zorba the Greek's but it went out of business, not sure why.

Paros on 4th was awesome as well, but also went out of business.

After dating a Greek girl for 5 years, my standards became very high...LOL

Istanbul Cafe on 17th ROCKED!!!, don't think its there anymore. If you wanna trip an awesome meal is "Its All Greek To Me", in Red Deer. Foods unreal, belly dancers the whole shit & Kabudal. Order the Mesa for 2....5 course meal, includes lamb & chicken...only $25.00 per person.
