Not too sure what the deal with the regestration is. I know the owner was a kid in Yorton, Sk. I also know there were 7 or 8 that made it through before they changed they outlawed them. :dunno:

At least we all hope it's one of those 7 or 8 that was brought in before. Too bad there is no listed price, i'm curious to see if he charges a fair amount or if he places a premium on the car to see if some enthusiast, or kid with too much money will bite.

Yea, I know of one dude in Ontario who has one and he said someone offered him 80 for it. I dunno about you guys, but the evo is sweet, but I'd sell and pick up an STI. But thats just me. There is a guy in Calgary who has one too, and he says he has never gotten the attention with any car that he has with his plain stock 03 Evolution. :drama:

I just called the guy..He's asking 40k for it and he brought it into canada threw some loop hole.. He has a cabin down in colorado and lives up here something like that...He saidd he has gotten about 15 call's from different dealerships..He also said it is FULLY regestered in canada and free of any leins..hope that helps

Apparantly the Registrar of Imported Vehicles (RIV) didn't list the EVO as a restricted automobile early enough, and a handful were legally imported into Canada. Excellent idea, as I imagine this guy is selling for about as much as it cost him to buy and import it.

my cousin has an evo8 in the states and i sure as hell wouldnt pay 40k for a used one.

40 Grand for that car is a pretty good deal especially concerning availibility and everything. It has fairly low Miles 23000. If I could afford it I'd be all over it. You could turn around and sell it for more right away I bet.
