Trunk Release

If you look at this wiring diagram, you can see that the wire going to the trunk lock actuator is Blue/Red and is connected to the A4 terminal.

Then if you look at this, you can see where the A4 terminal is located on the SCU.

My car had a remote start installed before I bought it, and the remote came with a trunk release button, but the installers didn't make it work.

Anyone know how I can make the button communicate with the A4 wire and open the trunk? Or should I just take it to a professional?

You will have to use a relay to isolate the wire from the security module.
The wire will have to be cut, and the relay wired in (5 wire).
