Just wanted to know what is the difference between civic models(for the 2001's -2005's)

so what is the dif between the different models?

sig, lx, si(obviously better engine but is that all?), street edition and etc....(add on if you know more of them)

expecially the sig does it have a different engnie than the stock base model civics?

thanks in advance guys.

the modeals usually go as DX, LX, EX, SI,

Anything else is jsut some package put together by the dealership. The "G" usually gives a convience package such as ABS and A/C, there are DX-G, LX-G, EX-G and SI-G etc...

So the SIG is is the same as a regular Si but with ABS and A/C

sweet. thanks alot.

so there is no difference in engine than? does that mean that all civics (2001-2005) are just the stock 1.7L vtech 127hp engines?

and does anyone know how often you should change the oil and the belts on these things. and anything else you should be checking into regularly? (or are they the same as other cars?)

No, the Si etc had the 127hp...the other models all had the 117hp non-vtec D17
