I love that style of Bimmer. They are so rare. Does anyone know what motor is in these?

If my memory serves me correct, it's the same as was in the e46 M3, with 333hp, I'm pretty sure it's a 3.2 Litre engine, (inline 6?).

M coupe and M roadster had either the 240hp motor from the E36 M3, or a version of the E46 M3 motor which was rated at 315hp with fuelcut capped at 7200rpm vs 8000rpm on the M3.

Looking at the video and how it's struggling to do burnouts, I'm pretty sure it's the 240hp motor. My burnouts in my 215hp SLK 320 looked exactly the same... fairly cheezy haha.

Yeah it is not the same motor as an e46m3, just a variation.

Nice wheels, ACS type 3.
