its ram sticks, its not like cars where they degrade over time. another thing to keep in mind is the sticks you find a NCIX.com, they are the newest rev2 version, with the memorysticks that are TCC5 and not TCCD that the first rev2 were made from, and those of you who overclock knows that TCC5 doesn't overclock as well as TCCD. also keep in mind tax + shipping.
