2 or 3 years I believe before demerits get removed

what if you have an out of province license, do they put your license number on record or what?

dunno.. very long time :o
but for demirits you get it back after 2 yrs of the conviction date.
for insurance purposes, you can be surcharge for it for up to 3 yrs after the conviction date, not the offense date.
but for dui's or any suspension related convictions, they don't count the year you are suspended on the insurance grid rate so it could last as long as 4 yrs or more pending on the suspension
