I've been wanting this car since the pre-Beyond days when I was drooling over rage2's SLK's.

I just put an order in for an Alabaster White 2006 SLK55 AMG. April production, expecting the car end of May, early June.

Instead of flying for my vacation this summer, I might just take this beast for a nice road trip.

At first I told Dominic I wanted Black because black is uber pimp but then I realized how much I hated washing my S2K so I had to call him back and change it to White. The color I really wanted was their designo gunmetal color, that's ok though, this car is already expensive as is.

Anyone have ideas for a cool plate? :D

I still have my AMG SLK plate but unless you're an immediate family member, I can't give it up.

There's no nicknames for the SLK, so really, there's nothing good.

Also, you're not allowed to get SLK 55 or SLK55 because SLK is a normal plate series. That's why I had to add the MB in front of MBSLK32. MB can stand for max_boost too I guess haha.

Ya, nothing but lame ideas lol.

I have to admit black is a bitch to keep clean and you can notice every scratch/nick. But you have to admit, they look so :bigpimp:

I think those are the wheels that were on the SLK32, I very much prefer that set vs the current set.

I got the Air Scarf (cool feature) and Bi-Xenon (should be standard IMO).

I'm really excited, this car is going to be such a beast. Love the retractable hardtop, it will be like having two cars :D

First mod, Brabus lowering springs to eliminate the wheel gap. Then I'll save up for a nice set of wheels for the year after.

I welcome any wheel suggestions, I'm out of the loop these days.

Wow I love those wheels. Any idea how much they go for? Couldn't quite find the price in the upgrade garage as it only listed 17's.

I forgot to ask you, were there any changes between the 05 and 06? Was it a carryover from the previous year?
